KARACHI: A couple was shot dead on Tuesday night in the city’s SITE Superhighway area.
Rescue sources reported that dacoits opened fire on the couple when they resisted a robbery attempt in Muhammadi Goth.
Police confirmed the incident and said that the couple had been married 18 months ago.
The victims, Amir and Mukhatib, were identified as residents of Orangi Town’s Mominabad.
The police suspect that the firing could be the result of a personal rivalry. Officials also added that the shooters were riding a motorcycle. Further investigations are currently underway.
